Uriel has
a big dream

Burundi

When Uriel was a toddler, his parents noticed that there was something wrong with his eyes. Their doctor referred them to JustSee’s partner hospital in Bujumbura.
Fortunately! Without help, he would now be completely blind.

Saved from blindness caused by cataracts

A free cataract operation saved Uriel from blindness. Like most children who undergo this kind of operation, he does need glasses to see properly. Uriel got his first pair of glasses at the optician’s in the eye clinic, and has since moved up to a larger pair.

His glasses make all the difference

Uriel wears his glasses with pride! He knows full well what they mean for him. His glasses make the difference between going to school or not. Playing football or not. Recognising friends from a distance or walking past them without seeing them. Walking with confidence or stumbling often…

You can help make dreams come true

Perhaps one day Uriel will make his greatest dream come true: becoming Minister of Finance. That is what you can help make possible by donating to JustSee. With your support, we can ensure that children like Uriel can see properly. Thanks to an operation and a pair of glasses. This is how you can give them new opportunities for the future.

Give a child like Uriel the gift of sight

EVERYONE HAS
THE RIGHT TO VISION

In Africa, few people realise that cataracts can be treated. As a result, many people are unnecessarily blind. JustSee actively seeks out people who have lost their sight due to cataracts, even in remote villages.

With a donation of 30 euros, you can help someone get screened for cataracts. That way, they can have eye surgery. Thank you!

People with poor eyesight are less likely to have access to education, employment and a normal life. Glasses that help you see clearly really do make a huge difference.

For 60 euros, you can buy a pair of glasses for someone with poor eyesight. This is how you give people the chance of a whole new life. Thank you very much!

In Africa, many people are blind due to cataracts caused by poverty. They cannot afford eye surgery. It is mainly adult women who are affected by this.

For €85, you can fund a sight-saving operation for an adult. This will enable them to work again and live independently. Thank you very much!

Every day, hundreds of children are born with cataracts in Africa. A simple operation can restore sight to someone who is blind.

For €160, you can fund a sight-saving operation for a child. So they can play, learn, and live life to the fullest. Thanks to you!
